30 secs... nice

Nice job making an nice even 30 second commercial, that alone shows a bit of sense. I was a bit confused about seeing Bill Bradley at the start of the flash, I suppose you were dissappointed the former senator wasn't the nominee too?
It would have been nice to have the resume incuded on the flash rather than as an outside site (though that document has certainly made its rounds). I also appreciate the bigger problem of the election, that Gore failed to excite and motivate voters to his camp (a win anywhere else would have made FL irrelevant) rather than just blame Nader. Too many liberals are willing to call that the cause instead of Gore's campaign. God save us this time around.

Good for the size

This was pretty good for the compact file size. I guess if you were looking for improvements I'd go for animating the slug himself. He slid over the ground rather than crawled. Some undilation woudl have been good. Showing some moth movement while eating woudl have been a nice addition. I didn't full catch on to the joke untill the flashback was well underway. Still a nice piece of flash for the small size and the music was well picked for the movie.

Not bad

This wasn't a bad little set of movies. I'd have to side with Whirl's film though. Wallpapers film just kinda happened rather than developed. Plus I think the speed of Whirl's was right if it had been slower I don't think it would have had the same effect, the rushed feeling in a panicy situation worked well.

Cute animation

That was a fun little flash, the music was very well chosen for it. Checked out the Deviant gallery too, the other flashes in there were pretty nice as well.

This looks absolutely wonderfull, I don't understand the 1.77 rating I'm seeing after voting. I'm digging through the archives of your comic right now and its just great. I should be a regular reader from now on. I just loved the style of the video, truely a great piece of work.

This was just so well done, it should have placed higher than 4th. It was a nice complete story, and well animated and voiced with some good humor along the way. Good use of "mother fucker". So many people don't know when to place in a really effective curse.

Thanks for the review bro! I was rather proud of this 'toon... Seeing as how my 'toons are still pretty much "brand X" And all of the stuff that came out the day this was released scored well above a 4.00, I was just glad it even showed up in the top 5! But in the end, the only numbers that really matter to me are the number of views... Thanks again!!!

There is just something nice....

This was all around nicely put together. nice clear images, the music is nice and well suited. For a short movie this was just great. The images are well done enough that I'm think of them and contemplate them as I am writing this and have gone back to watch the movie again.

Abstraction is so nice to see, consiering so many people seem to think randomness or chaos is abstraction.

[Good Idea, Bad Idea Ep 1.]

It was ok

The movie was ok, definately worth a place on the portal. Some of your good idea/bad ideas were pretty predictable (the construction site in particular). I liked the loaded gun clip because I was expecting a suicide, though it would have been nice to see the results of the misfire.

The one thing I wonder is if you compressed the audio file(s) because the file szie seems pretty huge for the amount of content. The score probably would have been better if you optimized the audio because the wait for the movie would have been less onerous for people with slower connections.

Good work in general, I hope you get a chance to learn from this one and make even better stuff.

Nice work

I think you're right, some of the other tributes were a touch better, though I'm not as big of a FK fan, but this was still nice work. You do a really nice job of setting suspense and anticipation in the short time the movie takes to play out.
