passable, not great

First I agree whole heartedly with Mac Nazi's #1 and #3 points, and would say his concern over #2 is justified but good movies can be made.

In terms of the intro itself it isn't overly effective. if you are trying to build up to things don't just give sentence after sentence. The start of mose sentances alone would be more effective. you have strong beats to have a word appear on and then fade in the rest of the sentance. If you are trying to raise people's anticipation use visuals and music together to increas the effect as well as keeping the intro more dynamic than just watching sentances appear and morph.

I am very impressed. Haivng seen all your movies to date each is a amazingly nice piece of work. The type of movies you where you feel like a better person after watching them. Thank you for sharing such a clear, well timed, and enjoyable cartoon.

Nice

I think this is the best clay I've seen on NG so far. I was a bit worried about it when I saw the studio intro, given the hand appearing the movie, but the movie as a whole was really well done in movement, voice acting, some plot, and humor. (The extra william tell at the end was great).
Keep it up, you deserve a cult.

heh, I didn't do the intro as good as I wanted to, but the hand is moving the letters, then it speeds up and turns into a claymation...get it? Yeah, I saw it on some documentery about claymation when I was young and thought it's a good way to make people think about how hard it actually is to do smooth motion. Thanks for the great review!

SBC a genious? Probably the best use I've seen of Clocks in a political satire. The speach impediment and $87b during a deficit were defiantely highlights. Displaying Rush as a clown (ie entertainer) is a pretty fair assessment. Most people on the left do not deny that people like Al Franken and Michael Moore are indeed entertainers as well as liberal voices. (Granted liberals have a history of humorists being the liberal voice... Mark Twain, Will Rodgers). I can see how this would upset a lot of convservatives loyal to Rush, critisizing the critic is never very popular, no one likes to be told their emperor has no clothes. Thankfully Rush's drug spree is in Florida where Jeb can fix him up the same as Jeb's daughter.
Good job, always looking forward to more.

I am curious to know whether Rush will be convicted of anything, or not.

After all of these years of Rush saying that white collar drug users should be rounded up and put in prison, I wonder if his position has changed????

The truth of the matter is that I would hate to see Rush go to prison as much as anybody else in his shoes. It's a bad situation, but prison isn't going to correct it.

Maybe I should do a JEB flash! Or how about NEIL! Oh yes, I'll bet the world has forgotten about the Neil Bush scandals. It might be time to remind them! :)

Very nice

Glad to see the series keep going. There was a bit of a popping sound around the voices that got a bit annoying. Bush's voice wasn't the greatest approximation but still good. I kept waiting to hear some mangling of the english language. I loved the intelligent and subtle humor of the tip jar "to save the economy", that had me laughing pretty hard.

Another good political piece in your series. I think one of the biggest worries is that with the administrations track record your movie seems an all to possible version of the future, not to mention a fairly serious comment on the american electorate. Keep the political humor coming, even if there isn't enough sticks, clocks, fart jokes, or violence to make some kids happy. (Though the violence in this one is real if you believe in economic, class, or environmental warfare).

[Navahls Anime Intro]

Not a bad effort

Not a bad little anime intro movie. The stick figures clashing didn't seem to fit as well with the rest and the words seemed to over-dominate the screen though. Some of the real quick scenes were very nicely done.

Fear Skeletor

A rather well done animutation. I think the movie got increasingly better as it progressed and was fun to watch all the way through. And if the movie wasn't enough the Dead Fetus Frenzy at the end was equally funny.

Very nice

Another good Bush Bash movie. I was a bit disappointed to see the NG references being included dimiishing the straight up political commentary, but was pleased that a general audiences option was also offered. The upgrade joke was especially clever and funny. Keep up the political commentary, its always nice to see smart stuff come through the portal.

I take quite a beating doing the political stuff, but it is what I know. I good review is always a plus.

As far as the NG reference, Hard Judge took a couple of mean spirited jabs at me and I felt payback was in order. I did think it was important to offer the non-Clock option because I usually don't want to mix and match subject matter.

It was ok

But as an over all civics lesson it wasn't too complete.
While the time was taken to describe the internal committe process, including subcommitees, the most important committee, the conference committee between the house and senate was left out. It would make for an interesting presentation but this was so basic most views should know pretty much all the contents already.

Most views? Well you clearly didnt go to school in Texas. They dont teach you shit down here. I had to get all this information on my own from all kinds of sources. This was as much as i ended up with. But hey at least our education system is better than mississippi right? Am i right folks?
